This is where the custom firmware comes in, it lets you run playstation games that haven't been bought through Sony's Online store.
Then you just run them like any other PSP game or app since the emulation it built into the firmware. It's a feature Sony have added where you can buy playstation games through the PS3's Online Store and then transfer them to your PSP. The emulation is built into the official 3.00 firmware. Its not actually a emulator that you run like your traditional SNES emulator currently available. Is that the Popstation folder? Do I have to copy that to my mem stick? Where do I place it? I didn't know that the GTA exploit worked on 3.03 now! But I figured it would be easier in the long run if I just downgraded. I had thought this new development was just the ability to downgrade from 3.03 to 1.5. Hopefully after work today, I can locate the needed files. Right now all I can play is Lumines (Which is ok, because that game had me hooked anyway).

However, my time on the computer was limited, and I was unable to find or install the 3.03 custom firmware. Ok, so I upgraded to 3.03 and successfully downgraded to 1.5. Well, I was never a PSP hater in the first place. Seriously, it will rekindle your love for the system. Bricking apparently isn't really a factor, and is only caused by human error, rather than problems with the device.
You have all the functionality of 3.03 and more, plus the oppurtunity to use all this neat stuff people have made for the psp.

Fortunately, soon after Dark_Alex cracked 3.03 Now i'm playin silent hill 1 again, and 181 nintendo games(only 42 mb ) Seriously, you won't regret it. Ahhh man, I was totally against it, but once I found out that the psone emulator was involved with this custom firmware, I had to hop on it first chance I got, but I was at 3.02.
